Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains what Baby Card Printables ("we", "us") does with information when you use this website. The short version: the card editor runs in your browser, and we do not receive your photos or the details you type into the cards.
What stays on your device
- Photos and card details. Everything you enter or upload is processed locally in your browser to draw the card and create your PNG or PDF. It is not sent to our servers.
- Saved settings. To save your work between visits we use your browser's local storage (for example your chosen design, paper size, entered details and saved templates). Photos are not stored. You can clear this at any time from your browser settings or with the Reset button.
Information collected automatically
- Hospital address search (optional). If you press Search in the baby stats card editor, the text you typed is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to find the address. Nothing is sent while you type, and your photo and other details are never included. OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy applies to that request.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and requested pages to deliver and secure the site.
- Analytics. When enabled, we use a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service (Plausible) to count visits, pages, session duration and general events such as "exported a PDF". It does not use cookies or track you across websites, and does not collect personal data.
Third-party services
- Fonts and code libraries. The site loads fonts (Google Fonts) and open-source libraries (Tailwind CSS, html2canvas, jsPDF) from their content delivery networks. Those providers may receive your IP address and browser information when you load a page.
- Advertising. We may show ads through Google AdSense or a similar network. Ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads and, where you consent, to personalise them. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK) we ask for your consent before using such technologies. You can manage Google's ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we hold very little personal data, the easiest way to exercise these rights is to email us.
Children
The site is intended for adults making cards for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
