Tap a design to open it with the Valentine words already filled in. Type your baby's name, add a photo if you like and download. The first two are milestone cards set to Write my own: change the big and small text to anything you like. The other four are Valentine cards with the baby's name, birth details and a greeting you can pick: Baby's First Valentine's Day, Happy Valentine's Day, Our Little Valentine or Born on Valentine's Day. Everything runs in your browser, so your photos stay on your device.
Big and small text ideas
On a milestone card, the big text has room for up to 6 characters and the small text for up to 14.
- 1st + VALENTINE
- 14 + FEBRUARY
- XOXO + LOVE BUG
- LOVE + AT FIRST SIGHT
- BE + MINE
- The baby's age, for example 4 + MONTHS OF LOVE
Not sure how old your baby will be on the day? The baby age calculator shows the weeks and months for any date.
What to write
Keep it short. A name, a date and one sweet line are enough.
- "My first Valentine's Day."
- "Our littlest valentine."
- "Love at first sight."
- "Made with love, delivered with hugs."
- "The best thing that ever happened to our hearts."
- "Small hands, big love."
- "You stole our hearts on day one."
- "Happy Valentine's Day from our little family."
Written by the baby (fun for family cards):
- "I'm new here, but I already love you."
- "Will you be my valentine? I'll share my bottle."
- "Hugs and kisses, no teeth yet."
- "Mommy and Daddy say I'm the cutest valentine. I agree."
For grandparents and godparents:
- "Happy Valentine's Day, Grandma and Grandpa! Love from your little sweetheart."
- "Thank you for loving me so much. Lots of slobbery kisses."
Twins and siblings:
- "Double the love." (twins)
- "Two little valentines, one big heart."
- "My big sister is my favorite valentine."
On a milestone card, put the line in the This month I… box, and use Favorites for the details: loves "cuddles with Daddy", new skill "blowing kisses", fun fact "first time in red".
Photo ideas that stay simple
- Red or pink outfit: a plain romper, socks with hearts or a little bow is enough.
- Paper hearts: cut a few big hearts from colored paper and lay them on a white blanket around the baby (out of reach, and away from the face).
- Hands only: the baby's hand holding a parent's finger, or a paper heart held by the family, needs no perfect smile.
- Window light: a spot by a window in the morning gives soft, even light without a flash.
Take photos a few days before you need the card, once the baby is fed and rested. Keep the session short and stay close to the baby the whole time.
Born on or near Valentine's Day
A February baby is an easy theme. The birth card maker has the name, date, time, weight and length on one card. Pick one of the four Valentine designs and set the greeting to Born on Valentine's Day; it shows the birth year. Lines that fit:
- "Our little valentine has arrived."
- "The sweetest valentine came early."
- "Love arrived on February 14."

Print and send on time
- Late January: take the photo and make the card.
- Print at home: choose Print at home (PDF) and use card stock of 200 to 250 gsm. Small photo sizes such as 4×6 in or 10×15 cm go on a normal sheet with cut marks.
- Print shop: choose Print shop quality (PDF), which adds a 3 mm cutting margin, and order a week ahead.
- Mail: send cards in the first week of February so they arrive in time; cards abroad a week earlier.
- Send by phone: choose Picture (PNG) for WhatsApp or messages on the day.

Questions
Are the Valentine cards free?
Yes. Make and download as many as you like, with no sign-up.
How do I make a "1st Valentine" card?
Open the milestone card maker, choose Write my own under Milestone and type "1st" as the big text and "VALENTINE" as the small text. The links on this page fill this in for you.
Can I add a photo?
Yes. Open the Photo section and add a picture from your phone or computer. It stays on your device. With a photo, the big text moves to a small badge on the milestone cards.
Does it have to be the baby's first Valentine's Day?
No. Change the big text to "2nd" or the child's age, or write your own words, and it works for toddlers and siblings too.
Which size should I print?
A5 or 5×7 in suits a card in an envelope. A4 or US Letter makes a small poster for the fridge or the baby book.
When is Valentine's Day in 2027?
Sunday, February 14, 2027. Mail cards in the first week of February.
